1.1Project brief
At the requirement of the Buyer, the Seller will supply equipments for one HFO Power Plants to Buyer at Jaramijo in Ecuador which can delivery 130MW to national grid at site conditions. The power plant is operating with No. 6 HFO/DO;
Site condition of Jaramijo: 25 m altitude, 25 ° C mean temperature, relative humidity 55%;
Fuel oil main character: Net calorific: 9728kCal/kg; Viscosity ( @ 50º C) max: 630.9Cst;
Specific gravity: 999.6kg/m³ ; Asphaltene content: 12%
Vanadium: 295.5PPM; Sodium: 8.95PPM; Sulphur max.: 2.03%;
The power plant consists of 24 sets of diesel generators, with capacity of 5500KW per set, Install capacity of 132MW.
Grid voltage: 69kV
Generating system voltage: 11000V, 60Hz
Gen-set type: Indoor installed.
The specification outlines the scope of supply for each DG set;
The DG set is driven by diesel engine model 16V320ZD2 manufactured by AVESPEED., which is the largest medium speed engine manufacturer in China;
The engine will use heavy fuel oil as main fuel oil and diesel oil for starting and stopping.
1.3Standard & code
The design is according to the Chinese standard & code, in line with ISO/IEC standard. The project designed under the merit of "advanced technology, highly efficiency, safety, economy and practicality".
The installation and the commissioning should be in line with the above standard & code.
