3MW(2X1.5MW) HFO/Diesel Generator set(power plant)1.1 Project brief
As per the requirement of Sudan power plant project, the Seller will supply equipment for 3MW HFO Power Plant to Buyer as continuous running. The power plant consists of 2 sets of diesel generators, with capacity of 1500KW per set, installing capacity of 3MW. The rated voltage is 13.8kV, and the frequency is 60HZ. The generator sets are capable for operating with diesel oil and heavy fuel oil (HFO).
Gen-set type: indoor installed;
Low voltage for auxiliary equipments: 480V;
Proposed fuel: HFO 180Cst @ 50ºC.
1.2 DG set configuration
The specification outlines the scope of supply for each DG set;
The DG set is driven by diesel engine model G8300ZD10 manufactured by Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Group Co., Ltd, China.
The engine will use diesel oil and heavy fuel oil (180cST@50ºC) as main fuel. The fuel treatment equipments are designed according to the requirements of using heavy fuel oil.
1.3 Standard & code
The design is according to the Chinese standard & code, in line with ISO/IEC standard. The project is designed under the merit of "advanced technology, highly efficiency, safety, economy and practicality".
The installation and the commissioning should be in line with the above standard & code.
1.4 Project scope
The scope of the Supplier:
Engineering design of the power plant, including power system, fuel system, lubricating oil system, starting air system, cooling water system, air intake & exhaust, compressed air system, control & measuring system, electrical system, etc;
Supplying equipments and materials for building the power plant according to the scope of delivery;
Installation supervise and commissioning of the power plant;
Operation training.
