VFD-S Frequency Converter for Oil Pump Test Bench
Requirement for VFD-S Frequency Converter Performance:
Injection pump is a key part of a diesel internal-combustion engine. It distributes the oil input of the individual combustion cylinders in a uniform manner according to the rotation speed of the diesel engine, and adjusts the rotation angle of the crankshaft to inject oil. Its quality has direct influence upon the overall performance of the diesel combustion engine. A motor is the power source of an injection pump test bench. The accuracy in controlling the rotation speed of the motor is the precondition for ensuring the performance of the injection pump.
Control Objectives of VFD-S Frequency Converter:
1)Control the forward/reverse rotation and stop of the motor;
2)Control the rotation speed of the motor, involving two methods: Ten pre-set rotation speeds, and free speed regulation;
Control mode: The controller inputs 0~10V analog input signal to the AI1 interface of the inverter, and accordingly outputs "0~ the maximum rotation speed of the motor". The RS485 interface may also be used to set the frequency in communication mode. The system requires that the drive unit should have very high steady-state accuracy in certain range, quicker response speed, and small overshoot. The VFD-S vector inverter adopts the digital PI algorithm to simulate the slip regulator, to implement the requirement of no steady-state error.
